I went in for a sore knee and walked out without it.
Before I trained as a therapist I saw a good local remedial therapist myself for a sore knee, and the pain was gone when I left. That was the moment I realised massage was not just about making someone feel nice. It was a genuine clinical tool, and it is what led me into the profession.

Clear about scope, from the first session.
What I do
Soft tissue work, muscle energy techniques, joint mobilisations, fascial therapy, dry needling, pelvic health, and pre and post surgical rehab support.
What I am not
I am not a physiotherapist. When something sits outside my scope I will tell you plainly, and I will often work alongside your physio or exercise physiologist from their plan rather than running a separate one.
I watched pre-surgical work change how fast people recovered.
Early in my career I spent about a year at All Sports in Forest Lake. The team pushed the soft tissue and knee rehab work to me so the lead practitioner could focus on exercise based rehab for clients going through pre and post surgical knee treatment.
I saw firsthand how much difference solid soft tissue work before surgery makes to recovery time afterwards. The effect was phenomenal, and it still shapes how I work with rehab clients.
Hands on rehab work.

I treat the way I do because I never stopped studying it.
