Who I treat

The range is the point.

I see a genuinely broad range of people, and that is a direct result of how I work rather than an accident. If one area is outside my scope I will say so, and we get on with the rest.

Rehab and post-surgical

Total knee replacements, pre and post surgical work, and clients already on a physio or exercise physiologist plan. I work from their plan, not around it.

Cyclists

Position related load through the hips, low back and neck, and the tightness that builds from hours in one shape.

Gym members

Training load, recovery between sessions, and the movement restrictions that quietly limit a lift.

Tradespeople

Repetitive load, awkward positions and long days on tools. Practical work, straight talk, no lecture.

Office workers and CEOs

A regular reset rhythm, weekly or fortnightly, rather than waiting for a flare up. Movement based bodywork and a real conversation.

Sport specific

Tennis, AFL and golf, each with their own movement patterns and overuse presentations. Golfers often arrive with tendon irritation from repetitive swing loading.

Rock climbers

Long holds under load create tightness that travels along fascial lines. I trace the chain rather than hammering the forearms.

Cancer clients

Cording work and scar tissue release in a private, comfortable setting, at a pace that suits you.

Lymphatic drainage

Including coordinated care for a client managing significant lymphedema alongside their specialist clinician.

Neurodivergent clients

Quiet, private, no waiting room full of strangers, and space to sit outside and settle before we start.

You came to me for help. Why would I send you away and make you feel more broken than you already feel?

If there is one area I cannot or should not treat, that does not mean the whole session is off. I can calm the nervous system, help you sleep, and treat the compensating areas that are actually driving the pain. Sore knee, but the back is what is screaming: I can work the back without touching the knee at all.

An inclusive practice

DMT is a safe and welcoming space for every client, whoever you are and whoever you bring with you.

Still developing

Upper cervical and vertigo work is an area I am actively studying. I will call it a specialty when I am confident it is one.

Who I am not for

Worth knowing before you book.

I am not the person for a long, slow relaxation massage. That is a real skill and it is not what I offer.

I am not the person for being hammered. I have a firm, confident touch, but heavy punishing pressure as proof the treatment worked is not how tissue or the nervous system actually responds.

If your pain is above an 8, I’m putting too much pressure through you.
